Comics w/ my son
Earlier this week, as soon as I got off work, my son was waiting and ready to head to the comic store. On his list - we needed to get Skaar, Son of Hulk. So we travel up the highway, talking comics, talking heroes, sharing time. I think someone could think this was time mainly for him, but little would they know that dad (aka me) was looking forward to this as much as my son.
Oh no… Skaar did NOT come out today!!! We’re a week early on the release date. (Crap) Well, it can’t hurt to ask, and sure enough the manager had a preview copy that came out early. The day is saved for my son.
Skip forward to bed time, our bed time story? You got it! Skaar! It was a good read… we’er still walking around the house saying “born in fire… raised by monsters…”
Anyway, Just wanted to share my story with you. Comics are just one more way for dads and sons (and daughters, or Mom and sons/daughters) to share great quality time together.
Hey c0Micb00ks.com - should I get a copy of Skaar CGC’ed? Or maybe even signed and CGC’ed? Whatcha think?

I think it’s a great idea, it is also a memory, and a reminder of it
Great story ! I should tell you guys some of my stories of about Stan Lee, Jim Mooney, and Ike Perlmutter (CEO of Marvel Comics). Check back soon, I’ll be sure to tell you guys some great stories too.
I did see something in New York once.. It wasn’t a bird or a plane. Unless I was in Metoropolis by mistake, I’d say it was the wall crawler!
