What’s Hot!!! Locke & Key 1st Print #1

By Jim on Saturday, November 22nd, 2008

As many of you already know, this is not news to you, but for those who might not know it yet, here’s a heads up!

Locke & Key is hot hot hot !!!

The first printings are racing up in the price guides and the story line is great, but what did you expect from Joe Hill, a writer with the royal blood line of writing legend Stephen King! Writing under the pen name of “Joe Hill”, Joseph Hillstrom King is actually none other then the son of Steven King. Joe decided to use a pen name to allow him to make a name for himself and not just fall under the class of Stephen King’s son. His writings includes the titles ”Heart-Shaped Box” and “20th Century Ghosts”, but now this new writer is making his own mark in the comic book industry.

While Stephen King does have several comic book titles on the shelves right now, we’ve found that Locke & Key has out sold them about 5 to 1 in popularity, and now we don’t have any Locke & Key comics left!

If you have a chance to grab some of these, go for it. Save all your 1st print issues and don’t read them! Store them away unread in a poly bag with acid free backboard, and we think you’ll have a pretty valuable item in the near future. Graded 9.8 copies are selling on eBay for 100.00 already.

Get yourself an extra copy (2nd or 3rd print) to read because there is a reason for this comics new found popularity! We won’t spoil the storyline :-)
